THIS is the moment a notorious Instagram model admits to faking her own kidnapping in a depraved stunt. Influencer Victoria Rose, who goes by the name Woah Vicky, said she pulled the twisted prank because she was "bored". During a live stream the model, 24, told fans she was just "having fun" when she tricked people online into thinking she'd been snatched in Nigeria.
Rose had posted several tweets to X, purporting to be from her captor, which have since been deleted. One read: "'I have kidnapped Vicky. She is with me in Nigeria. I am demanding $1million for her release.". Rose, who has some 3.7million followers on Instagram, was forced to admit her mistake on Sunday in a uncomfortable video shared to the site.
Barely able to make eye contact with the camera, she said: "Everything good ya'll... sorry about that. "I was just bored and having fun. Just getting a laugh, just getting a laugh in, that's it. "But it's all love though. I'm just having fun with my brother, everything good.
"Please forgive me," she added. Rose, who gained notoriety online in 2017, is no stranger to controversy. She was slammed for using an extremely offensive racist term at the time. "We kind of got carried away with the joke, you know, we just like to have fun and joke," Rose added during the Instagram Live stream.
