Reese Witherspoon has claimed an unnamed actress is no longer friends with her after she 'roasted' her in a speech at a 'classy' British awards event. And fans have been left convinced that Kate Winslet is the star embroiled in the secret feud with her. Legally Blonde star Reese, 48, remained tight-lipped about the actress' identity while speaking to PEOPLE, but fans believe they have uncovered the truth after discovering she honoured the Titanic star, 49, at the BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards in 2007.

'Imagine my good fortune when Kate Winslet moved into my neighborhood, rang my door bell and said, (insert British accent here) "Dahling, Sam is off shooting, and I believe our children are the same age. Could they possibly have a play date and oh, by the way, it's almost 9 o'clock and I've had nothing to do drink, do you have any wine?".

She then went on speak about Kate's 'fearlessness' when it came to her famous nude scene: 'When I saw her in and she took off all her clothes and jumped into that lake, I thought, "Wow, I bet that lake is really cold." And then I thought, "Wow, There’s an actor without fear,"'. In her new interview this week The Big little Lies star explained the unnamed actress  asked her to speak at the event on her behalf.

'We're not friends anymore. I'm not even kidding — we're not friends anymore,' she said. 'I think she doesn't like me anymore.'. Along with the star's name, Reese did not reveal the name of the ceremony or when it took place. 'So this friend of mine — who I didn't really know that well, but she was a very serious, proper actress — she asked me to give her an award,' she explained.
