One savvy lady has taken to sharing her ultimate hack for wiping out windowsill mould effortlessly. Samina, who regularly posts cleaning tips on her TikTok @samina_iltaf, recently uploaded a clip showing her battle against both condensation and mould.
Initially, she zaps the condensation using a window vacuum; however, you can make do by just wiping it down with a squeegee. Then comes the game changer – a spritz of Astonish Mould and Mildew spray, snagged from Wilko for a mere 95p. While the spray itself is potent, Samina ups its efficacy for stubborn mould situations. She lays down paper towels or toilet roll against the window seal, which she douses in the spray, explaining that it "helps keep the liquid on the window seal".
Fast forward to her next-day video, where a simple wipe of the paper magic sweeps away all traces of the mould. Social media users are buzzing over a cleaning result, with one fan exclaiming in the comments section: "So trying this!" Another was wowed, commenting: "Wow.
