WARNING: This article contains spoilers from You. You season five’s release date has been announced with the last series teased as a “killer finale”. Almost two years have gone by since Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) ventured to London to start a new life as Professor Jonathan Moore after faking his death and fleeing California.

He was also on the hunt for the “Eat The Rich” killer who he believed to be politician Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers) but it turned out the murderer was Joe all along, having created a fictional persona in Rhys to deal with his crimes. By the end of the fourth outing though, Joe had fully embraced his serial killer instincts and is set to return to New York, wrapping up his deeply disturbed story for good.

Here’s everything there is to know so far about watching You season five on Netflix. The final chapter of You has been earmarked for a few months time, with season five coming out on Thursday, April 24, on Netflix. While the fourth series was split into two parts, all 10 episodes are going to be dropped onto the streamer in one go for season five.

You wouldn’t be possible without Gossip Girl icon Penn Badgley in the starring role as the obsessive stalker-serial killer Joe Goldberg whose story has played out in the thriller since 2019. He will be joined by his wealthy girlfriend Kate who left her life in London behind to start again with Joe in New York.
