First Dates star Cici Coleman has revealed she's open to appearing on the show as a singleton. “I love watching the Christmas episodes," the 38 year old says. "The cast and team do such a good job, it's so warm in there, and the lightning, the eggnog, and just everything about it, the tree is huge and it brings the Christmas spirit. I love hearing the Christmas songs, as long as they don’t start recording in August I’ll be fine.
The show and their casts have a lot of interactions with the guests. From host Fed Sirieix welcoming thm in he restaurant, to the bartender Merlin Griffiths whipping up some of the best cocktails to the Cici bringing the food. "You feel like you have this sort of responsibility for people to have a great date, but obviously it's not your responsibility," she says.
"It's on them, but they come in so hopeful, and maybe that's why I love doing what I do, because it's a reminder. We all have moments of doubt on dates but you see how brave these people are coming bearing themselves on TV, being so vulnerable, and it's just that reminder that you know that love is there and for everyone," she says.
"It doesn't matter who you are. Love doesn't judge and so if you can stay hopeful with it, that's what everybody does when they come in that restaurant," she adds. Cici has been known to give people pep talks on their dates, especilly when the date does not seem to be going as smoothly as hoped for. “I love that kind of stuff, I love helping people I always have, and I really enjoy just giving people that space to be vulnerable.
