According to Cleve Scene, Cleveland police believe that Dunlap's death is due to an overdose, but they are waiting for more information from the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. Dunlap's mother Karen Jones posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that her daughter 'didn't do drugs,' while Dunlap's sister Kira has opened a GoFundMe page to raise funds for funeral expenses and to hire a private investigator.
Speaking to 19 News, Jones said, 'They suspected that it was an overdose. I said my daughter has never used hard drugs, talk to anybody.'. She continued, 'I will stake my life that the toxicology is going to come back that she did not have any hard drugs in her system.'.
