Aldi also recently caused a stir with its Dairyfine Curious Inventions bar, which comes in white or milk chocolate and is filled with popping candy and cherry jellies, has been transformed into a £3.99 egg for the Spring season.It went viral online as the original chocolate bar has long been compared to a Cadbury favourite – the Marvellous Creations, which is strikingly similar, but made with either Cadbury White or Dairy Milk chocolate.
As well as updating their stores this year, Aldi also has some upcoming store openings, with new supermarkets planned to pop up in locations such as Fulham Broadway in London, Billericay in Essex, and Cheadle in Stoke-on-Trent.
The changes to the fridges and bakery section are all part of a new phase of Aldi’s store enhancement programme – which the company has been working on since 2017.
While the changes being made are to the bakery aisle, it seems many people are only just discovering that some of Aldi’s 1,000+ supermarkets have actual in-store bakeries.
Aldi also recently hit the headlines after launching a new product that’s a UK first – and got fans of 90s sitcom Friends talking.
