NEW data reveals Britain's cheapest towns - with average house prices at just £112,000. The Sun has created an interactive map based on figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Land Registry's House Price Index. The MailOnline carried out independent analysis examining the median annual pre-tax earnings for residents instead of disposable household income. It took 2024 earnings from the ONS and compared them against statistics from the Land Registry for September, the latest data available.
