Before he became a movie star, Channing famously worked as a stripper in Florida for eight months, providing inspiration for his later turn in the Magic Mike movies. After the huge success of the films, the live production show based on the movies, which was conceived and directed by Channing himself, opened in London's Leicester Square in 2018.
