Escape to the Country's host Nicki Chapman faced a massive task as two buyers were anxious about finding their 'dream property'. On Tuesday's (December 17) episode of the popular BBC show, Nicki was tasked with helping a couple relocate from Southampton Hampshire to their dream home in the Cairngorms.

The stakes were high for Nicki as the couple had sold their previous house and had been living in a campervan for the past two years after deciding to travel the world in their motorhome. Retired police officers Kath and Sue had a healthy budget of £550,000 for a detached property in a rural location, with at least two bedrooms, ample parking for their motorhome, a large kitchen, and a garage and workshop for Kath's van conversion plans.

They also wanted the property to be near country trails as Sue is an avid runner, while Kath was all about the views as she confessed her love for the mountains. She also revealed her new hobby of wild swimming, so a nearby river would be ideal. Nicki confessed: "I've got my work cut out" as she arranged several property viewings. After a long week, it was one house, located on the rural outskirts of the small Highland village of Nethy Bridge, that left the couple speechless, declaring it their "dream house".

The property, with an asking price of £525,000, featured a spacious kitchen, open-plan living spaces, and three generous double bedrooms. Alongside these, it had a garage workshop wing and coastal access, reports the Express. Additionally, the house boasted stunning views. Upon viewing the abode, the couple was smitten and wanted to place an offer immediately, but Kath feared that it might quickly be snapped up by someone else.
