Blue Ivy towered over her mum, Beyonce, during the singer's epic NFL halftime performance on Christmas Day. The Cowboy Carter star, 43, stunned fans in Houston with an elaborate square-dance alongside her daughter, 12, who was on back-up dancer duties for the catchy closing number, Texas Hold 'Em.

The mother and daughter duo were co-ordinated in white Western gear, studded with rhinestones, as Beyonce - sporting chaps and a huge Stetson hat - gave a shoutout to her eldest child mid-song when she changed the word 'boy' to 'Blue' in the lyric: 'Then spin me in the middle, Blue, I can't read your mind.'.

Beyonce brought the house down performing a 15-minute, eight-song medley during the football game where the Baltimore Ravens annihilated the Houston Texans 31-2. Fans went wild when the 32-time Grammy winner and Blue, wearing a Cowboy Carter sash, two-stepped and line-danced with the rest of the dazzling dancers as they interlocked arms for an impressive Do-Si-Do square-dance routine.

Despite her young years, Blue is already a star in her own right. She previously danced back-up for Beyonce's songs My Power and Black Parade during her 56-date Renaissance World Tour last year. And now, the nepo-baby has bagged the starring role in The Lion King: Mufasa, voicing Princess Kiara.

Blue, Beyonce and Jay Z all rocked up on the red carpet earlier this month for the Lion King premiere in Los Angeles. The proud parents looked delighted to celebrate their firstborn's success even though Jay Z had found himself dragged into the P Diddy drama the day before.
