The latest season of Love Island All Stars has had us totally glued to our screens, potentially being the most dramatic series to date. And as the series starts to wrap up, high street retailer and the villa’s official beauty supplier, Boots, has launched their hotly-anticipated Love Island themed beauty box, saving shoppers around £200 on villa-approved picks. The Boots x Love Island All Stars Beauty Box, priced at £55, is said to be worth more than £240, and by our calculations, it’s valued at around £256.49. Inside, shoppers will find 15 villa must-haves, 10 of which are full-sized, with each item averaging out at £3.66 as part of the deal.
Beauty buffs can expect to find everything to pamper from head to toe, from hair oils and face cleansers to mascaras and fragrances. And as for brands, well, they’re out to impress, too, with names like Fenty, Elemis, Benefit and Sol de Janeiro, not to mention Sacheu, who are currently going viral for their peel-off lip liners, with the edit giving you a chance to try one out for yourself. There were 16 beauty essentials, including five full-size products from top-notch brands like Sol de Janeiro, Byoma, Benefit, and The Inkey List. By comparison, this year’s is £10 more, but you do get more than £200 worth of products free and twice as many full-sized items as the previous edit.
Among the highlights, there’s a full-size Ouai: St. Barts Hair Oil and First Aid Beauty: Bronze + Glow Drops with Niacinamide, worth £26 each, while the Fenty Skin: Cookies N Clean Intensive Pore + Blackhead is valued at £25. These three items alone exceed the price you pay for the edit, essentially making the rest completely free. Don’t underestimate some of the minis, either, as the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder mini is actually worth more than some of the full sized items at £23. The travel-sized Benefit They’re Real Magnet Mascara is also worth £15 on its own.
Skincare fans will love to see the iconic Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm mini, valued at £13.50, as well as the £18 Liz Earle: Cleanse and Polish Tube, a match made in heaven for a double cleanse - though some shoppers may have preferred a little more variety. When it comes to edits like this, it’s not guaranteed you’ll love every single item, but they’re still a great value way to try out a range of products for a fraction of their usual price.
