Retired actor Bruce Willis has been photographed in a rare outing around Los Angeles. The 69 year old stepped away from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia. A year later in 2023, he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and is rarely seen in public.

However, the star broke cover in recent days as he was photographed taking a leisurely car ride with his driver. Die Hard star Bruce was seen looking ahead while sat in the passenger seat of a black car as the actor made his way around Studio City. Bruce took in the surrounding sights in the photographs, which saw the window next to Bruce wound down to bring some fresh air into the vehicle. The sighting comes after the Hollywood star was recently seen chatting with a LAPD first responder in a video shared by his wife Emma Heming Willis.

In the black and white clip Bruce is sporting a hat, jacket and jeans as he warmly smiles at police officers and shakes their hands. He is seen chatting with two police officers and smiling. As Emma shared the clip earlier this month on her Instagram, she wrote in the caption: "Spotting a first responder, Bruce never missed a chance to show his gratitude with a heartfelt handshake and a “thank you for your service.” Yesterday was no different".

At the end of December, Emma shared a touching tribute to her husband on their 17 year anniversary and admitted that the occasion now "stirs up all the feelings". As she shared a photo of herself and Bruce smiling together while taking a dip in the stunning waters in Turks and Caicos, she wrote in the caption: "17 years of us.
