Cannibal child killer utters chilling apology before being executed on birthday A twisted murderer who killed and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl has uttered a chilling final apology as he was executed on his birthday.
Kevin Ray Underwood was executed by lethal injection, strapped to a gurney at Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester for the horrific murder of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin.
Underwood’s gruesome 2006 crime stemmed from a sick, cannibalistic fantasy, a court was told at the time, and he was sentenced to death for the twisted murder.
As he lay strapped to the medical table waiting for the lethal injection to be delivered, Underwood said “I would like to apologise again for all the terrible things that I did.".
The injection was administered at 10.04am local time on Thursday morning, CBS News reported, with Underwood declared dead at 10.14am.
