A fitness club has unveiled a trailblazing waterproof suit collection, allowing office workers to transition between their workspace and the swimming pool without changing. David Lloyd Clubs crafted the innovative garments in response to member feedback about the challenges of fitting exercise into hectic schedules.
The revolutionary 'Swim Suit' collection utilises specialist water-resistant and hydrophobic fabric and is designed to enable time-strapped hybrid workers to make their way to the pool without worrying about the time it takes to get changed and shower.
The collection could potentially be made available to the public, depending on demand. Which means you could soon get your hands on one too. A representative for the health and wellness group stated: "More and more members are utilising our work stations and intermittently using the pool, gym, group classes, or padel courts throughout the day, creating a much more balanced work life.".
"Integrating wellness into various parts of the day significantly impacts our overall wellbeing, but trying to fit everything in can be challenging, so any assistance to maximise your time can make a huge difference," they added. A survey of 2,000 office workers found that nearly half skip fitness and wellness activities due to work schedules. The David Lloyd Clubs spokesperson added: "The pressures of work and family commitments can be overwhelming and it is hard to carve out time to look after ourselves.".
