Conor Benn has issued a chilling warning to long-time rival Chris Eubank Jr as the pair finally agreed to settle their bitter feud in the ring. Talks for the mouthwatering showdown ramped up recently with the pair and their promoters, Eddie Hearn and Ben Shalom, in attendance at the Ring Magazine awards. After discussions reached a promising stage, a deal has been struck and the pair will go toe-to-toe at middleweight on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - on Wednesday morning, Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh wrote: "Eubank Jr vs Benn done in April, London, by the name of (Fatal Fury City of the Wolves). Soon I will announce the day and the location, it will be The Ring’s first card in collaboration with the video game and SNK, and I will push to make PPV price 19.99 GBP for the fans, with tough undercard…Lets get boxing great again and wait for huge announcement soon.".

Following Alalshikh's post online, Benn was quick to send a short and sweet message to his rival, posting: "You are done @ChrisEubankJr.". Over the years, there have been several stumbling blocks regarding the weight the pair will fight at. Benn has made a name for himself at welterweight (147Ibs), while Eubank competes in the middleweight division - two weight classes higher than his foe. But both fighters have agreed to a rehydration clause of 170lbs after the fight weigh-ins. It therefore means that Benn will step up to the middleweight limit to take on Eubank Jr - giving the latter a reasonable advantage.
