Ariana Grande impersonator Paige Niemann has stunned fans by showing the extremes of her transformation to mimic the chart topping star. Social media users have reacted with stunned amazement over footage of 20-year-old TikTok star Paige who has duped many fans of singer and actress Ariana, 31, by seamlessly dressing and styling herself like the star. Fans have been especially stunned to see Paige dressing in pink to impersonate Ariana in her role as Galinda 'Glinda' Upland in the smash film Wicked.

On Monday, fans of Ariana was convincingly fooled by Paige when she turned up at the LA premiere of new horror film Companion dressed as the singer - walking down the red carpet in a ruffled black dress and sparkling jewellery. After being fooled by the star, some fans have dug up a video clip of Paige from 2022 where she showed a before and after of her transformation into the singer. Simply titled "Me without makeup", the footage showed Paige in her bedroom with her long dark hair draped around her shoulders and wearing what appeared to be Minnie Mouse ears. Wearing a black top and without any makeup, the social media star pouted at the camera and slowly dropped her head against a door.

The footage then cut to the other side of the door, showing Paige in a glamorous black gown and with her hair tied up in a ponytail, identical to the style Ariana wears. With her make-up done to imitate the star, she looked almost indistinguishable to the Thank You, Next singer. The footage has sparked a wave of compliments for the content creator, with one writing: "I think you're very beautiful without makeup." And another typed: "You have the most beautiful features naturally, Idk why you feel the need to change them with makeup but whatever makes you happy.".

While many fans thought Paige could give Ariana a run for her money as she naturally is, others saw comparisons to even more stars as they reviewed the seconds of make-up footage in the clip. She told Entertainment Tonight in 2019: "I started doing it for fun, and now it’s just something I do regularly” - adding that she dresses up as the star almost daily.".

Ariana has previously given a mixed response to the cosplay, hinting she finds it unnerving. Entertainment Tonight read out a tweet from the star that stated: “I just wonder why the cat voice/dialogue I am sure she is the sweetest sweet sweetheart forreal!! But it’s definitely bizarre seeing people blend the two worlds. Lmao.”. Responding to Ariana’s reaction, Paige said: “I was so shocked that she noticed me. She’s really nice and I kind of thought it was cool that she noticed me.” She went on to claim the singer had contacted her directly via DM, saying: “She said, ‘I’m flattered’. She just wanted to let me know that I’m beautiful in my own way. I said, ‘Thank you and thank you for being so kind to me.’.

“And she said, ‘I’m proud of you.’ So… She reached out to me.” Paige went on to explain that she was shocked that her “idol” had contacted her and said Ariana offered to meet her backstage at one of her shows.
