There's devastating scenes on Coronation Street next week according to new spoilers. The moment that has been heavily teased for a while finally airs, and it could have heartbreaking consequences for the Platt family. Their house goes up in flames in a fiery twist, in unmissable episodes.

There's a schedule shake-up, with an episode set to air on Tuesday next week instead of next Friday. In a schedule shake-up, there will be three episodes in a row across Monday to Wednesday, instead of them being split up with a day in-between like normal.

The big fire airs as a continuous episode across Monday and Tuesday, with the fallout airing on Wednesday. More than one character will be left fighting for their lives in the horror scenes, as the Platts take centre stage - but the culprit might not be someone they expect.

It all kicks off when David Platt continues to endanger his family after his drama with Harvey Gaskell. As Sarah's birthday party arrives, she fears all the family being together could make them even more of a target - unaware villain Logan Radcliffe has overheard her.

David makes his excuses not to attend, secretly teaming up with former prison inmate to raise some cash via some dodgy dealings. Meanwhile with some of the kids including Sam at the Platt's house messing around, Toyah Battersby heads there to order the kids to leave.
