Coronation Street's new faces joining soap for 'big' storylines and 'chaotic' scenes

There will be some new faces shaking up Coronation Street in the coming months on the ITV soap. Amid the news surrounding a number of exits on the ITV soap, the cobbles won't feel all that empty for too long. Characters including Eileen Grimshaw, Craig Tinker, Daisy Midgeley and Max Turner are all heading out of the soap in various storylines.
But there's also some "big" plots and plenty of "chaos" on the way too, that will see new faces, including a relative of the famous Webster clan. Kate Brooks previously teased what was ahead, promising drama while also big stuff ahead for the Websters.
An insider also teased to The Mirror there would be "twists and turns" ahead that would keep viewers "on the edge of their seats". So who is heading to the Cobbles, and what will they bring?. Well the three new characters all share links to existing characters on the street. We can reveal that two of them have possible links to two residents which is yet to be revealed.
The third new face is actually someone that has likely been mentioned before, and is a relative of an existing family on the cobbles. Casting news and details about when exactly we will see them on screen is being kept under wraps for the time being. But amid all the exits on the show, there's some new characters ready to shake things up. Our soap insider teased: "Coronation Street does new characters so well, there's always something ready to unravel.
"The latest trio joining the show are no different, so expect the unexpected but also plenty of drama and maybe some tears." Corrie boss Kate Brooks recently told The Mirror about the newcomers, confirming what fans will see from new couple Mick and Lou.
