Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has a post-credits scene. Just like the first two films, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 seems that it will also hint events of a potential follow-up. In fact, its existence somehow leaked online a number of days before the film's official release in cinemas.
The first film's post-credits moment introduced the character of Tails, as Sonic's ally declared that they 'found him' and rushed off to be reunited with his friend. In the sequel, as military personnel commented on the mess Robotnik had made during the events of the film, it's said they 'discovered something' that was hidden for 50 years. It was revealed to be the location of Shadow himself.
