There's tragedy ahead on EastEnders, and now some viewers think they have worked out a sinister twist on the BBC soap. Ahead of an explosion reportedly tearing through The Queen Vic during the 40th anniversary episodes, fans have recalled recent scenes that they believe could be linked to the looming stunt. Nothing has been revealed by the show yet, but pictures from the set revealed The Vic completely trashed, with it said to have been engulfed by a fire.
Pictures obtained by other publications showed a car smashed into the side of the building, while the pub's windows were blown out with some of the structure smashed on the floor. With hints revealed about what's ahead for the birthday episodes, fans are fearing for a number of characters knowing an explosion is likely looming.
Now, some fans have shared a new theory after seeing a video on TikTok. The video shared includes scenes from a specific episode that aired in December, with it questioning whether certain scenes were a foreshadowing of what was ahead. Fans will remember the episode referenced as it was the one that saw Linda Carter 'killed off' after her alcoholism plot took a dark turn. In the episode we saw Linda seeing her future if she continued to drink, with her family mourning her loss and attending her funeral.
