A UK ticket holder won a massive EuroMillions jackpot, with their bank balance set to be boosted by £83million. The winner becomes the first Brit of 2025 to match the numbers to scoop the grand prize. Players have now been urged to check their tickets so the winner can be awarded the massive amount of cash.

This lucky winner represents the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2025, what a way to start the year.

Earlier this month an NHS worker who scooped a £1m EuroMillions jackpot just 10 minutes before the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve said the rest of the celebrations were simply a blur. Andy Hornsby said he had a ‘funny feeling’ about the draw on December 31, so much so he went to his local Asda and bought two tickets.
