Leaks are starting to swirl revealing the potential theme of the next Fortnite season, but we have to get there first – and thankfully, we seemingly now know when the mysterious new season will begin. Returning to the past in Fortnite isn’t just limited to Fortnite OG Chapter 2 and its stacked OG Battle Pass – no, it looks like the core game is returning to familiar ground too. Leakers have finally revealed what we can expect in the next season of the fresh chapter that introduced the Demon Hunters season, boasting the appearance of Hatsune Miku’s Music Pass, and the Godzilla secret skin before the King of the Monsters became a kaiju mini-boss. According to leakers like @ShiinaBR on Twitter, we can expect Chapter 6 Season 2 to have a Heist theme, as it boasts the codename RobberyGameplay behind the scenes.
This is incredibly reminiscent of Chapter 4 Season 4, titled Last Resort, which saw players break into fancy mansions to steal the map’s very best loot, creating lockdowns and swarms of NPC bodyguards in the process. It’s interesting to see that the game is folding back to such a similar theme so soon, and it has some players worried that Epic Games could be running out of ideas – but we’re willing to bet that the company has some aces up its sleeve that will ensure that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 won’t be redundant on arrival.
