Reality TV legend Gemma Collins has thanks the ambulance service after her fiancé Rami Hawash took ill over the festive period, prompting her to seek medical help. After spending Christmas with her hubby-to-be, plus his son Tristan and her pals Jedwards, Gemma shared a devastating update, showing Rami, 49, hooked up to a monitoring device. NHS staff could be seen caring for him, with Gemma, 43, writing: "Thank you to the amazing ambulance service who came for Rami last night, thankfully he will be OK.".
Although she's not yet shared what his symptoms were, she did reassure fans that he'd be OK. The shock news came just hours after she had signed off four the year. Gemma wrote on Instagram: "Merry Christmas to ALL and a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I am on holidays now but wishing you all happiness JOY and lots of trifle!!!! Before the diet starts January he he. I will see you all at some point in JANUARY, love GC x.".
TOWIE star Gemma has documented her fun-filled December, a year on from Gemma and Rami's stunning Maldives engagement, which was announced in February 2024. Gemma, who has known Rami for more than ten years, has already been engaged to the businessman twice. He originally proposed by putting a ring in a Christmas pudding in 2013, after they met in 2011.
But just four weeks after his proposal, Gemma called it off, with the pair splitting up. They then reunited during lockdown, seven years after breaking off their first engagement. A source told OK! that, after taking time to focus on her wellbeing, Gemma will hopefully soon be ready to start making her wedding day dreams a reality.
