'I'm player 829 in Beast Games - it's a vicious cycle of betrayal and team work' A Beast Games contestant has revealed what it's like to battle alongside 1,000 others to try to win the largest cash prize in game show history.

YouTuber Mr Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is awarding $5 million (around £3.98million) to the contestant who wins his highly-anticipated show on Prime Video.

Prior to their decision making, however, player 829 said he spent time trying to get to know those around him - and came to learn some people were in it for a 'quick $10,000 (£8,000)" rather than the $5 million jackpot.

To start the games, Mr Beast offered players a share of $1 million (£800,000) to leave straight away.

With new episodes released every Thursday until mid-February, he is quickly narrowing down the winner after eliminating hundreds of players through his games.
