Katya Jones broke her silence on Wynne Evans' Strictly Come Dancing withdrawal on Tuesday evening. Following Wynne's announcement, Katya, 35, said she'll 'miss her darling boy' as she prepares to continue the tour without him. She wrote on Instagram: 'Let's show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy.'.
Wynne, 53, has agreed with the BBC to “take some time out” from his radio show and the Strictly Come Dancing live tour “to prioritise my wellbeing”, he confirmed in a statement on Tuesday. The BBC had previously refused to release a statement on whether or not he has been axed from the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
But the Welsh star, famed for playing a portly Italian opera singer in a string of insurance ads for Go Compare, has since announced his departure in a grovelling statement. Katya Jones, 35, broke her silence on Wynne Evans' Strictly Come Dancing withdrawal on Tuesday evening.
Following Wynne's announcement, Katya said she'll 'miss her darling boy' as she prepares to continue the tour without him. She wrote on Instagram: 'Let's show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy'. He said: 'I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.
'I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. 'Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me.'.
