A Lady Gaga waxwork has left fans all saying the same thing as they see the Madame Tussauds work for the first time. Gaga, who will release her seventh album later this year, has been honoured by the historic wax museum. Fellow singers like Ed Sheeran, Paul McCartney, and Taylor Swift feature at the museum, and Gaga is the latest to join those honoured by a wax statue. But fans were stunned at the result and could barely see a difference between the real Gaga and her wax counterpart.
A now viral post on X has seen fans and brands share their stunned reaction to the waxwork, which looks almost identical to Gaga at the 2022 Grammy Awards. One user wrote: "Oh, this looks amazing. I can't tell the difference they did an amazing job." Another fan added: "Oh this has to be the best they ever done." A third joked: "Ok usually these look terrible to me but this one actually looks good.".
Even brands like Spotify and Specsavers weighed in on the waxwork, The music streaming service replied: "You know what? Hell yeah." Specsavers added: "You’re telling us this isn’t her?!" Others have praised the waxwork for being one of the few that completely captures the look of the person it is meant to be. One user wrote: "Wait this might be the only wax figure I've seen that looks like the actual person." Another added: "Actually one of the best I’ve ever seen them do." A third praised the team behind the statue and suggested they needed a "raise" given how great their work was.
Some were convinced this was not a wax figure of Gaga and heaped praise on the design, which has seemingly gotten every little detail about the Poker Face singer right. One fan wrote: "You sure this ain't really her?" Another agreed with the eerily identical design and suggested it could just be Gaga posing. They jokingly asked: "Can we see the wax figure?". They wrote: "This is the best wax figure I've ever seen. Whoever made this needs a raise." Gaga has been honoured by Madame Tussauds with their "best work" to date ahead of the release of her new album, Mayhem. Her seventh studio album will feature lead single Disease, which released late last year.
Rumours over Gaga's album continued into the new year after the Academy Award winner teased new material would be released in February. The album, set for release in March, will be Gaga's first album of originals since 2020's Chromakopia. She had collaborated with the late Tony Bennett on Love for Sale in 2021 and released Harlequin, an album to tie in with the film Joker: Folie à Deux, last year. Celeb obsessed?
