The drama is heating up on Love Island - especially for Catherine Agbaje as a huge US singer ‘sets his sights’ on her. It’s not been an easy ride for Catherine in the All Stars villa, having first couples up with Nas Majeed, who recently was dumped from the island. The pair seemed to be getting on well, although Nas’ mention of being a ‘slow burner’ became too much for Catherine who wanted someone who knew what they wanted.
Despite feeling down after the ‘break-up’ it seemed like all was in her favour when Montel from her season made his way into the villa as a bombshell. Motel and Catherine first met during season 10. However, it wasn’t meant to be as Montel formed a relationship with Leah, while Catherine was with Scott. It looked like the pair had a second chance to have a go at things as they continued to get to know each other. Once again, it wasn’t meant to be as Montel chose Kaz at the recoupling, leaving Catherine gutted.
This week, Montel and Kaz were also dumped alongside Nas, but it looks like ‘someone new’ may come in for Catherine on Thursday night. During the episode, after a week full of drama, the Islanders receive a pick me up text. “Islanders, get ready for an incredible night because the Villa will host a VIP performance from an American superstar! #TalkDirtyToMe #WantToWantMe,” reads the text on Gabby’s phone. The Islanders then enjoy a performance from none other than Jason Derulo, and Catherine gets more than she bargained for.
She shares a special kiss with the hitmaker, as he kisses her hand after she helps him with his jacket. Upon seeing the first look for the juicy episode, fans are calling for Jason to be brought in as a main guest. “Can we make Jason Derulo Catherine’s bombshell?” questioned one, while another said: “Enough the Ekin and Curtis drama. Can Derulo just be Catherine’s bombshell, then we wrap up the show!”.
The fun doesn’t last long however, as later on Grace receives a text asking all Islanders to gather around the firepit. A further text to Sammy then reads: “Danielle and Sammy as the newest arrivals you now have a big decision to make. You must steal a boy and a girl of your choice to couple up with…”.
