Love Island Luca Bish's brutal response when asked about potential Gemma Owen reunion

Luca Bish has opened up on how he'd feel about a potential reunion with Gemma Owen as he heads to South Africa to take part in the second series of Love Island All Stars. The 25 years rose to fame in 2022 when he took part in the eighth series of the ITV dating show. He finished as runner up alongside girlfriend at the time, Gemma. The pair were beaten to the top spot by winners Ekin Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, although both couples have now gone their separate ways.
Although they tried to make their relationship work on the outside, Luca and Gemma announced their split three months after leaving the villa. "We have been on such a journey together and have made some amazing memories… we will remain good friends and I wish nothing but the best for her," Luca wrote on Instagram at the time.
Now, Luca's heading to South Africa for another shot at finding love, but how would he react if Gemma was to walk through the doors as a bombshell?. "I'd walk out," Luca told the Mirror and other media. "I'd probably say I'm a Love Islander, get me out of it after watching I'm a Celebrity, that's on my mind," he laughed. All jokes aside, Luca continued: "No, I'd back her all the way and just hope she has a better experience than last time.".
Although he'd wish her all the best, Luca ruled out any chances of a potential reunion with Gemma. "You can read a book twice, but the ending never changes, that's how I look at things like that," he stated, before laughing: "Sorry Gemma!". However, Luca may not have to worry about any awkward encounters, according to Gemma's dad, football legend Michael Owen, as he told Closer he 'doubts' his daughter would do Love Island again.
