Love Island star Hannah Smith charged with terroristic threats against police officer A former Love Island star has found herself in serious trouble with the law following an incident last year.
According to the American publication, the court papers claim authorities allege the reality star, originally from Concord, North Carolina, broke the law when she lunged at police officer Kayla Winkfield, attempting to assault her.
Prosecutors have accused the reality TV star, 27, of terroristic threats and wilful obstruction of a law enforcement officer, according to court documents reviewed by TMZ.
Hannah Smith, who appeared on the American version of the dating show in 2024, has been officially charged with making terroristic threats following her arrest last autumn over an incident at the Roxy in Atlanta, Cobb County, Georgia.
However, Smith allegedly tried to punch her, resulting in the reality TV star being handcuffed as she repeatedly attempted to kick the officer.
