Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle appeared as 'US versions of the Royals' as they visited victims of the LA wildfires, according to a body language expert. Thousands of people have lost their homes in the furious flames, which have ravaged the region, including A-listers, Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins. The Sussexes recently revealed they had opened their Montecito home to friends and loved ones who have been forced to evacuate due to the nearby fires to stay with them. The couple are also believed to have donated supplies to people affected by the blazes, including clothing, children's items, and other essential supplies.

In new photos, the parents-of-two were seen handing out food parcels on Friday at the Pasadena Convention Centre, which is being used as an evacuation centre. In candid shots they hug the founder of World Central Kitchen, Jose Andres, as the organisation distributes meals to victims.

According to Judi James, Meghan and Harry appear to be displaying a regal status in the shots, as she tells us: "Meghan is doing some full body hugs here in a ritual of consoling and her facial expression mirrors the sadness the people she’s meeting must be feeling. Coming on top of some more practical help from the couple there’s a feeling they’re appearing like the US version of our royals.".

Judi says the embrace is a "signature" statement from the couple, as she shares: "This seems to have been an immersive experience for Meghan and Harry although, given their signature body language brand, it was always going to be the ‘consoling’ hugs that would provide the most camera-worthy moments.".
