Netflix users can now enjoy a chilling horror film, which viewers warn is 'not for the faint-hearted'. The streaming giant has recently added the 2023 movie directed by renowned sci-fi filmmaker Brandon Cronenberg. The plot revolves around a couple who are having a great time on an all-inclusive holiday until they are enticed away from the resort by a mysterious woman.

Their fun-filled adventure quickly turns into a 'nightmare' when they encounter the violent side of the resort. After a shocking accident rocks the island, the couple find themselves in a 'zero tolerance for crime' situation where they either face execution or pay to watch their own demise.

The film features Mia Goth, known for her outstanding performances in the X horror film series. Alexander Skarsgard and Cleopatra Coleman portray the married couple who are lured by Goth's character. Despite being an R-rated feature with the expected gory violence of a thriller, it delves deeper into thought-provoking themes such as morality, class inequality, and corruption, reports Surrey Live.

Since its release two years ago, audiences have been singing praises for Cronenberg's third film. "Cronenberg is now going all-in for the cinema of nightmares, with a film that gets under the skin and itches, invades the brain and plays havoc with the synapses," one review on Rotten Tomatoes applauded.
