AS Xbox Game Pass saw a price increase last year, people have been turning their sights to PS Plus. And PlayStation has upped its game recently, as it’s adding one of PlayStation’s best exclusives to the subscription service this month. Overall, there are 14 games coming to PS Plus this month, though two are only available for PS5 users.
The three games coming to the cheapest tier of the service, PS Plus Essential, were announced earlier this month and include Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The highlight for PS Plus Extra and Premium members is God of War Ragnarök, the second game in the God of War reboot series.
The epic action adventure game sees Kratos and his son Atreus travel through the world and take down the Norse gods. Another triple-A game will be added to PS Plus Extra this month with Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Playing as Kazuma Kiryu, Gaiden’s story bridges the gap between Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Infinite Wealth.
There are also some highly rated smaller games joining Extra this month, including Sayonara Wild Hearts. The colourful rhythm action game is very popular with players and was developed by the studio that made Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. The other popular game coming to Extra this month is Citizen Sleeper, just ahead of the sequel’s release.
