Pokémon TCG Pocket gets its first major expansion with new EX, full-art and immersives

POKÉMON has just revealed that a new expansion pack is coming soon to TCG Pocket. Starting from Tuesday, December 17, 2024, a new booster pack set will be added to the rotation of cards. Mythical Island features Mew on the cover, and there will be more than 80 additional cards that players can pull.

This includes a number of new ex cards, full-art cards, and at least one new immersive card for TCG Pocket. In terms of full art, we’ve seen Dedenne, Vaporeon, and Marshadow, but there will undoubtedly be more, in particular for the five new EX cards.

The trailer showed us the new Mew EX and Aerodactyl EX cards, but the set description also includes a new Celebi EX card. The set description reads: “Experience wonder and whimsy with a new expansion’s worth of cards coming to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket!.

The full set list has not been announced but we saw a number of new cards as part of the trailer. Below is the full list of cards that we know will be part of the Mythical Island expansion:. The new set of cards will also come with some new cosmetics, such as binder covers and display boards.
