TCG Pocket players confused over latest Wonder Pick event but we’ve got you covered

POKÉMON TCG Pocket regularly holds events for players, but the latest Wonder Picks have them confused. Players noticed new Bonus Picks and Chansey Picks appearing in their TCG Pocket Wonder Picks, but there was nothing in the news channel to inform them about what’s going on.

Bonus Picks include either a Charmander or Squirtle card from the Genetic Apex booster set, as well as Wonder Pick Hourglasses and Event Shop Tickets. However, the Event Shop Tickets cannot currently be used, as there is no section in the shop to use them for purchases.

Players have also noticed Chansey Picks featuring Charmander and Squirtle Pokémon promo cards with new art. While the promo cards look different to the Genetic Apex set, they function the same in battle. Wonder Pick events are usually accompanied by rewards missions and new shop items, but these are not currently available.

Missions include completing a certain number of Wonder Picks, and collecting two promo cards of each type. Doing so usually rewards you with more Hourglasses and Event Shop Tickets that can be used to redeem cosmetics. These events normally run for two weeks. The first week there are display cosmetics in the shop, and the second week features battle cosmetics.
While the exact items haven’t been revealed yet, we believe they will feature Blastoise thanks to the current Solo Battle event. It appears that there was an error in the latest Wonder Pick event, which is why only one part of it has become available.
