She has undergone multiple biopsies and procedures to treat the cancer, and during this most recent check-up, she revealed that she had finally received some good news for a change. 'Oh my God,' Mellencamp breathlessly said in a new video posted to Instagram, which looked like it was filmed from her car.

'I just had a little cry, but it's a good one,' she continued. 'It's the first time in over two years I've gone in for my three-month check and not had to have a biopsy because I have another cancerous spot,' Mellencamp announced. She explained that she and her doctor looked at each other in shock when they got the news that nothing had to be biopsied, sharing that it was 'such a good feeling.'.
