Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp is getting real about her split from husband Edwin Arroyave amid the affair drama - admitting that her loneliness is a 'constant ache.'. Her confession comes just months after DailyMail.com revealed that Mellencamp was having a months-long love affair with German-born horse trainer Simon Schröeder behind their spouses' backs.
The scandalous affair was reportedly the catalyst for her divorce, with a source claiming to DailyMail.com that Mellencamp decided to file once she got caught in the affair. Since the news broke, Mellencamp has made a number of cryptic posts about her split, including at Christmas, when she shared that she was all alone and without her three kids.
Now, the star is opening up about feeling lonely, which she spoke about with Erika Jayne during a Thursday episode of their iHeart Radio podcast, Diamonds in the Rough. The two were joined by psychotherapist Dr. Nadine Macaluso, who describes herself as a 'psychotherapist toxic relationship expert' installment of the show.
During the conversation, Mellencamp spoke about the fact that she was naturally an introvert and enjoyed her alone time, but tearfully revealed that she was feeling 'really lonely' as of late. 'I don't know if those loneliness feelings mean that I've made a mistake, or this is just something I have to get used to and this is the new change in my life,' the former Bravo TV star said through tears.
