Severance fans 'work out' Miss Huang's real identity after major clue you missed

Severance’s growing fanbase is abuzz with theories about a strange newcomer who has joined the Lumon Industries staff in the Apple TV+ show’s second season. The Macrodata Refinement team, led by Mark S (played by Adam Scott) is finally back on screens following their plan to wake up their ‘innies’ in the outside world.
After a three-year hiatus, the acclaimed science-fiction drama returned on Friday (January 17), reuniting Mark with his team, Dylan G (Zach Cherry), Irving B (John Turturro) and Helly R (Britt Lower). However, there have been some major changes in the five months their floor supervisor Mr Milchick (Tramell Tillman) claims have passed since their attempted coup.
Perhaps the most startling difference is the introduction of Miss Huang (Sarah Bock), their new Deputy Manager who happens to be around 10 years old. Given the team’s shock to have a literal child watching over them (although fans were stunned to discover Bock is actually 18), there are bound to be some revelations about her character as the Lumon mystery unfolds this season.
Some fans are convinced they’ve already cracked the case, however, after picking up on Miss Huang’s easily missed comment that she used to be a crossing guard before joining MDR. “I think Huang's outie died as a child (likely in a car crash, will get to that next) and was brought back to life by Lumon via the MDR team,” they proposed in a recent Reddit thread.
