The Space Marine 2 roadmap for 2025 has been teased this week, with Focus Entertainment's December update looking back at the content delivered so far as well as what's in store for the new year. There have already been some juicy Space Marine 2 updates since its September launch, with update 4.0 ushering in Season 2 as well as a new PvP Operation featuring the new Hierophant Bio-Titan Tyranid; update 4.5 marking the debut of the Neo-Volkite pistol; and the most recent patch – update 5.0 – dropping a new PvE map, a new enemy (Tzaangor Enlightened), the the Dark Angels Cosmetic pack, and more. And while that's all been received well by the community, there's not been a lot in the way of PvP content.
Well, the next slew of Space Marine 2 updates will be fixing that, with Focus Entertainment giving us a sneak peek at the Warhammer: 40K game's 2025 roadmap, and there's PvP content galore to get stuck into. As well as all that, this year's slate of Space Marine 2 updates will roll out more new Operations, new enemies, and a new difficulty level – with new rewards.
While the publisher continues to keep the dates for its updates and seasons under wraps, we can look to the roadmap for a rough idea of which content is dropping when, so here's what's lined up for the next couple of Space Marine 2 updates that will take us through Season 3 and Season 4 in 2025.
All of the content teased for Season 3 and 4 has been shared in the Space Marine 2 December community update blog post. Among the new PvP content coming in the next Space Marine 2 updates is a new map. Focus hasn't said much about it, but it has posted a teaser image that you can squint at in the hopes of seeing...well, anything. The aesthetic reflects the PvP map's description, which details a "closed environment with many narrow passages pushing you to engage more in Closed Quartered Battles.".
