Strictly Come Dancing fans have spotted an awkward moment between Wynne Evans and Katya Jones in a resurfaced clip of blooper outtakes from the BBC show. The clip was posted on the official Strictly YouTube page and shows Katya telling Wynne she is going to "block him on Instagram", though she doesn't reveal the reason why. Wynne replied: "You're not going to block me on Instagram." As Katya told him "Good luck for Saturday", Wynne looked down the camera and said: "I work better on my own anyway, you've seen me in the adverts.".

But in light of recent events - which has seen Wynne "taking time off" after he was forced to apologise for an "unacceptable" sexual remark at the Strictly tour launch - fans note the clip "hasn't aged well.". One said on social media: "Remembering one of the digital videos they posted on Youtube, think it was a bloopers one, where Katya says 'I'm going to block you on Instagram' and Wynne says 'no you’re not'. Obviously may have been in a jokey way, but certainly won’t age well I imagine.".

It follows a series of scandals against the 53-year-old since his appearance on Strictly. First there was the Katya 'grope' on live TV, which the pair both denied happened blaming the incident on a “silly joke” between the two of them that had backfired.

He has also been accused of making "vulgar dad jokes" backstage to the cast and crew. And the latest scandal saw him receive a warning from the BBC over his inappropriate behaviour. Opera singer Wynne, who is most famous for the Go Compare adverts, was forced to apologise for an "unacceptable" sexual remark at the Strictly tour launch. The shock remark reportedly saw him use the derogatory term 'spit roast' towards pro dancer Janette Manrara as the cast posed for a photocall.
