Since hitting our screens in 2022, The Traitors has become a national obsession with viewers lapping up the game of deception and deceit. The three seasons of the UK version, the most recent of which came to a dramatic end last week, have offered up countless hilarious, shocking and emotional moments as a group of everyday people have been tasked with working together to build up a prize pool whilst also murdering and banishing each other from the game.
Although Harry Clark leaving Mollie Pearce blindsided last year when revealing he was a Traitor and would be taking all the prize money left many gobsmacked, it’s far from the most explosive finale we’ve seen. On the second season of The Traitors Australia, three Traitors made it to the final, sparking gripping scenes not yet beaten by any season of the show globally.
Despite seeing Harry hoodwink close friend Mollie had many screaming at their screens, some have said that conclusion had nothing on what the Aussie Traitors did to secure a win. Airing in 2023, the second season was a complete rollercoaster. After getting rid of five of their own, the Faithfuls then caught their first Traitor.
This season mixed everyday Aussies with celebrities, including actors and reality stars. One of them was My Kitchen Rules’ Ash Pollard who didn’t last long as a Traitor after 27-year-old marketing consultant Sam convinced the others she wasn’t to be trusted.
