It was recently reported that star Susan Cookson will leave Emmerdale after five years of playing Wendy Posner. Wendy arrived in the village to seek answers from Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins), who was pregnant with her grandchild. Viewers will remember that the character’s eldest son Lee (Kris Mochrie) had raped Victoria and was in a coma after being attacked by her brother Robert (Ryan Hawley).
She later began working at the local surgery, and then became settled in the area with new partner Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw). To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video.
Up Next. In upcoming episodes, a Hotten Courier article goes live and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is the target. The piece discusses her past and kidnapping baby Ivy and also suggests she might have something to do with April’s (Amelia Flanagan) disappearance.
As the piece blows up, Wendy gets caught in a blackmailing situation by the journalist. Feeling anxious, Wendy finds herself trading Ella Forster’s (Paula Lane) murderous past to cover her own misdemeanours. Unfortunately, try as she might, Wendy’s life and career looks set to implode.
