Emmerdale favourite sacked and prepares to leave for good

An Emmerdale resident lost everything in tonight’s episode when they came clean about their misdeeds. Wendy Posner’s (Susan Cookson) life has been unravelling since she spoke to a journalist, who had intel on her dodgy past. Viewers will know that Wendy used her married name to qualify as a nurse so that she didn’t have to declare her criminal convictions, which could have stopped her getting a job.

The journalist had managed to uncover this, but promised to keep quiet in exchange for salacious stories about other villagers. In a bid to save her livelihood, Wendy told her all about Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) kidnapping of baby Ivy, as well as Ella Forster’s (Paula Lane) killer childhood.
