Ferne McCann broke down in tears backstage after she became the second star to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice on Sunday. The former TOWIE said, 34, was said to be crushed about the voters' decision and couldn't hide her emotion as she completed her 'lap of honour' on the rink.
Ferne, who was dressed as a troll for her performance during movie week, apparently cut short her lap after becoming overwhelmed with emotion. An insider told us that Ferne burst into tears backstage when she saw her daughter Sunday, seven, and her mother Gilly, 65, after coming off the ice.
They said: 'Back stage Ferne burst in to tears when her mum brought a tearful Sunday in to see her. 'Ferne quickly pulled herself together, cheered up Sunday and was in really good spirits when she went out to meet all her friends and family. Charlie received the least votes in the first show last week, while Ferne received the least this week, meaning that they landed in the bottom two. She was immediately thrown out of the competition without the opportunity to fight for a place in the skate-off.
