The Traitors stars fined ‘hundreds of thousands’ if they break huge BBC rule

The Traitors stars risk being fined an eye-watering six-figure sum if they dare to flout a BBC rule. Jaz Singh, otherwise known as Jazatha Christie from season 2, revealed all contestants sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) forbidding them from spilling the show’s secrets before it airs.

The ultimate game of deception – hosted by Claudia Winkleman – is filmed in the Scottish Highlands months before it comes to our screens meaning the players are more than several steps ahead than viewers. If a faithful or traitor leaks what happens in the show, Jaz said they would be sued for ‘hundreds of thousands of pounds’ as per the show’s NDA.

Jaz told The Sun: ‘You have to get a ton of stuff prepared, how you’re going to deliver this information to various family members to keep this a secret, because you’re under an NDA, and they will sue you for hundreds of thousands of pounds of TV damages if this gets leaked.’.
