This Morning viewers were left in shock during Thursday's show as one brave couple tested 'female Viagra' live on air - and returned to the sofa to speak about the results. ITV hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard welcomed couple Karen and Ray onto the show today, with Karen taking the supplement on air before heading to a hotel mid-way through the broadcast to test its effects. Returning towards the end of the show, Karen admitted: "We had a good result. It made Ray very happy and I think the effects haven't worn off yet.".

"I've got a little bit of a flush, little bit tingly. Like a caffeine effect. I feel a mild effect. I do recommend, I'll try more," Karen said. When asked how he felt, Ray joked: "I found the tablet is making my back ache." When asked by Ben whether he noticed a difference in Karen, Ray added: "Maybe. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," to which Ben clarified: "I wasn't asking for details.". This Morning contributor Dr. Zoe gave her thoughts on the supplement, saying: "They are supplements that can potentially lift your libido. The ingredients that we're looking at, there's Maca, Fenugreek, L-Arginine. These are three active ingredients that there have been studies done on and in these studies, they do tend to find that there can be an effect.

"But we mustn't forget in the example of menopause, it can affect your body in so many different ways, to think we can just combat all of that with a vitamin supplement is unrealistic. Things like vaginal dryness - it's not going to help with that and if you have vaginal dryness, then you're not going to be keen on having sex.". She added: "We haven't even got into the psychological side, the relationship side, all of these things impact it as well.".

For Karen however, she said that she would continue taking the supplement. "I'm taking the rest of the packet home," she said. This Morning viewers took to social media to react to the segment, with one writing: "What the bloody hell am I watching? Television X?" while another commented: "They will have guests having sex on air the way this show is going.". This is a breaking showbiz news story.
