Slam dunk! LAPOINTE delivers bold collection on NBA court as WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick makes her runway debut

LAPOINTE showcased their fall 2025 collection titled LAPOINTE ENDURANCE during New York Fashion Week. The very special presentation kicks off the brand's 15th anniversary. Inspired by the concept of 'endurance' – the ability to withstand hardship or adversity – Creative Director Sally LaPointe envisioned highlighting the collection by showing at the official National Basketball Players Association practice space, directly on the court.

Like all the New-York based designer's previous collections, FW25 is a forward-thinking evolution of mood-boosting designs using textures like feathers and fur to evoke emotion. Staying true to herself while still having the courage to grow, the line features signature silhouettes along with new designs including trench coats with scarf details, striking evening gowns and knits. Animal print, particularly leopard print has made a remarkable resurgence in the last couple of seasons, and this year it made its way to the LAPOINTE runway.

Snake jacquard stretch lace pieces, and statement tops with full-length draped capes stole the show as chaps took the place of pants and basketball shaped handbags accessorized several looks. On the heels of last season’s iconic Oprah Winfrey:The Muse Campaign, this collection is a slam dunk for the New York-based label.
