Channel 5's 22 Kids and a Wedding gave viewers a front-row seat to a fierce row between Millie Radford and Harley Passmore, casting doubts on whether their wedding would actually take place. Despite tying the knot at Wennington Hall in Lancashire back in November, fans were gripped by the drama on Sunday's (January 5) episode of the series spin-off from '22 Kids and Counting'.
Millie and her beau Harley seemed to hit rock bottom when Harley became jobless, jeopardising their long-anticipated nuptials. The pressures of life, work, and child-rearing intensified, leading to epic spats particularly when cash flow issues forced a pause on their ceremony plans.
With parents Noel and Sue Radford pledging monetary support, it was no picnic for the young couple planning their big day. "I need to get some pennies in for mine and Millie's wedding. I do like Sue and Noel and obviously I wouldn't let them pay for it all.".
Harley revealed about the financial hurdle. Meanwhile, Millie owned up: "It's creating a lot of tension between us both trying to organise a wedding and be parents.", reports Lancs Live. Harley confessed the sheer weight of the strain: "Honestly, it's stressful. I wish I could just be at work every day.".
Father-of-the-bride Noel underscored the trials ahead: "Getting to the altar for Harley and Millie isn't going to be easy, there's a lot of pressure on them.". Sue, the wife, concurred: "The stresses of planning a wedding are a big test on whether or not you're gonna get through that.".
