Caitlyn Jenner has been slammed for attending a ball to support Donald Trump. The Olympian is no stranger when it comes to supporting the scandal-hit president and has often used her platform to share her views on topics, as well as discussing her friendship with Trump. Caitlyn, 75, is a long-term Republican supporter and had appeared at fundraising events during Trump's 2024 campaign rally as well as his election night party.
Kris Jenner's former partner was one of several high profile guests at the prestigious ceremony on Monday, joining the likes of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Laurence Fox, Nigel Farage, Conor McGregor, Jake and Logan Paul and Priti Patel as Trump was sworn in. However, many have slammed Caitlyn for supporting the former reality star, who used his victory to clamp down on the rights that transgender people hold.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a snap of Trump shortly after his first inauguration in 2017 and wrote alongside the post: "Always stick with your gut. I supported him from DAY 1 and was honoured to be there for the first inauguration. Happier than ever to be back for the second one, supporting @realdonaldtrump who along with his team will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! #inauguration2025 #maga.".
Her upload which has been liked over 13,000 faced harsh criticism from social media users. One penned: "Literally announced that you don't exist today. Were you front row for that? I don't understand how you can support an office that is trying to re-alienate you from society?".
