Michelle Hardwick - who plays Vanessa on the ITV soap - has now revealed how heartbreaking the scenes were to film, as she admitted she even broke down in tears off camera as she struggled with the scenes.
Suzy was the first person to die in sad scenes from a head injury, whilst Leyla succumbed to her injuries in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
"It was really sad and because it was in the middle of December and your emotions are heightened anyway, there was one point I just broke down in tears.
Speaking about Suzy's exit, she said of Martelle Edinborough - who plays her on-screen girlfriend: "It was Martelle’s last few days filming as well.
